This prestigious academic Merit Bursary is available to full-time first-year, second-year, or third-year students aiming to study or currently studying in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Many students may lack the essential resources to pursue their studies further; this bursary seeks to bridge that gap.

Programme Requirements

South African Citizenship: Applicants must be South African citizens by birth.
Full-time Studies: You must undertake full-time undergraduate studies at a South African tertiary institution.
Grade 12 Performance: A pass in Grade 12 with exemption, achieving 70% or higher across all subjects.
Tertiary Academic Performance: If already in tertiary education, a minimum of 65% average or higher is required.
Eligibility for Current Students: Current students from the first year upwards at accredited South African tertiary institutions who meet all the above criteria are eligible to apply.
