Multi-talented Ghanaian artist, OV finally speaks on rumours of her being a drug addict.
The former MTN Hitmaker winner, in a recent interview on Accra FM”s “Entertainment Capital” hosted by Nana Romeo on Saturday, spoke on why she had to take a break from music at a point in time.
As most of you would recall, the talented reality show winner, Ov born with her legal name as Naa Okailey Nyarko was once a signed unto Ghanaian Dancehall recording artiste, Stonebwoy‘s Burniton Music Group record label but parted ways following a misunderstanding.

OV soon after parting ways with Stonebwoy dropped a few songs and all of a sudden was lost from the music scene, a photo of her later popped up online months later showing her looking not so well and too depressed.
That caused a lot of mixed reactions online as many social media users started suggesting that she was into drugs and couldn’t control herself.
Speaking in the recent interview with Nana Romie the singer debunked all those saying she is an addict, which was the reason behind her going off for some time before coming back now.
OV who described herself to fans said she is a rasta girl, and when asked by the host, whether she smokes or not, her response was a very interesting one.
Responding she said, a lot of rastas do smoke, and that she is not against smoking but she does not sniff.
While addressing why she went off the music scene for over a year and a half she said she had some personal stuff going on which were blocking her from focusing on music and that she had to pull back and make sure she deals with it before coming back to music, which was what she did.
According to her she heard and read a lot of rumours of her tagging her as someone who is on hard drugs which she sees as funny and laughed over it.
She then debunked all such rumours saying there is no iota of truth in it as many of the people saying that had no idea as to what she had to go through or endure while she was off.
OV is currently out with a new song she titles “Blessings & Lessons” which she is currently promoting, the song according to her has a lot of vibes as she addressed some of the issues and questions some people have been expecting her to answer, asking fans to go stream it.
