Ghanaian singer, songwriter and rapper, Fameye has come out to explain into details why he no longer attend church services, saying that it’s because he always gets criticised due to his lifestyle. watch video below.
The singer after blowing up into the limelight revealed that he has been through a lot of struggles on getting to where he is now, going to reality shows to contest but never had the chance to blow to the mainstream, but attributed his breakthrough as a blessing from God.
On the Atuu show, an entertaiment show aired Sartudays on UTV and hosted by Abeiku Santana. Fameye, who won the best new artiste of the year award at the just ended 2020 VGMA’s made a shocking revelation regarding his church attendance.
The singer responded to a question asked by the host, Abeiku, asking if he still goes to church or not, because he made it clear that his blowing up was made possible by God’s intervention.
Fameye answered by saying ‘no, i don’t go to church anymore’. Eplaining furthur, the Notin I Get hit maker revealed that at first he always attend church but he has for some time now stopped because of criticism.
According to him, he stopped going to church because people in the church especially the women, always like to complain a lot about his hairstyle and also the earring he usually puts on. watch video below.
”I don’t go to church but I pray a lot. I stopped going to church after my hairstyle was constantly criticized…some women in the church always complained about my hairstyle and the way I wear earrings..I got tired of the criticisms so I stopped attending church.” he stated.
