Ghanaian dancehall recording artistes, Shatta Wale has explained the reason why he is not interested in doing Collaborations with his brothers; Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

Born with his legal name as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, the dancehall artistes in a recent interview with Andy Dosty of Hitz FM, via a phone interview said he does not do music to impress people.

According to him, There has been a lot of people suggesting he collaborates with Stonebwoy and Sarkodie but he will not bow to such pressure because he does not do music all in the name of impressing people but rather, he is a business guy and he thinks about the business side of everything he does.

“The business around music is not about creating impressions, but it’s about us to make money and feed the fans with that same amount,” Wale said.

He admitted that making collaborations is a very nice move but comparing collaborations outside Ghana, you could see that there are negotiations in there with structures well put in place for parties involved to make money.
