Ghanaian rapper Guru comes again to address throw more light oh his recent issue with Kuami Eugene and his entire Lynx Entertainment crew member in a new video.
Recall that rapper Gurur for some time now together with Kuami and his Label crew members, has been making headlines following a statement from Kuami Eugene saying that he refused a request to work with the rapper following the fact that he disrespected his label boss Richie Mensah.
Kuami’s talk didn’t go well with the rapper and he had to take to social media where he countered what the Open Gate singer said by addressing what actually happened between himself and his boss, and adding that he never disrespected his manager.
Guru went the extra mile to drop a new song last Friday, February 19, a diss song for that matter targeted at Kuami for disrespecting him full of harsh jabs in it.
The rapper, Guru who is born with the legal name “Maradona Yeboah Adjei” was sighted in a new video interview hosted by Zionfelix where he threw more light on the whole issue.
The ‘Lapaz Toyota’ hitmaker in the video registered his disappointment in the young award-winning highlife recording artiste, saying that even if he [Guru] had issues with his boss ‘Richie’, he the signee who is just a young act should not take it upon himself to do all that he did.
According to the rapper, while speaking on the issue of the collaboration said that the request for the collabo was about 3 years ago, it was not a recent issue so he was not able to figure the main reason behind why Eugene should make such comments about an issue which happened a long time ago in recent times.
Why HE Released The Diss Song:
Guru in the interview said he had no plans of releasing any diss song, because he spoke with Richie on Nana Ama Mcbrowns show on UTV and felt okay the problem has been dealt with only to be sent a link to a new video after his show on UVT to watch and found out that Kuami Eugene was Live his Instagram page where he said a lot of things throwing jabs at him.
Adding that after seeing what the young singer did he was pushed to serve him with a reply which was the diss song he released on Friday titled “Who Born Dog” targeted at Kuami and to put him in his right place.
Speaking further, he stated with authority that Kuami’s entire songs/musical works under the Lynx Entertainment Record Label in total will not match up a single hit song from him [Guru].
He also added that Eugene does not respect, he talks just anyhow he wants to without thinking, and that he will not be shocked if Lynx Entertainment cancels their deal with him or removes him off the label because he is very disrespectful.
The NKZ Music boss later advised the record label to school the young singer on how to talk else he will bring upon himself a big problem one day.
