Judge Rules: Woman Accusing Jay-Z, Diddy of Raping Her at Age 13 Can Stay Anonymous

The woman who accused Jay-Z, whose actual name is Sean Carter, of raping her when she was 13 years old has been ordered by a New York judge to remain anonymous. The ruling follows pressure from the rap mogul’s attorney to make her identify public.

After Alex Spiro filed a request to deny the claimed victim’s right to remain anonymous, Judge Analisa Torres reprimanded him for being confrontational and trying to “fast-track” the legal process.

“Carter’s lawyer’s relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a tactic unlikely to benefit his client,” Torres said.

“The Court will not fast-track the judicial process merely because counsel demands it.”

The woman claims that Carter assaulted her during a party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs in Manhattan, New York, following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. In a lawsuit filed in October, the lady initially accused Combs of drugging and raping her; last month, she added Carter to the list.

The lawsuit claims that the plaintiff, Jane Doe, attempted to enter the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall that year without a ticket. Despite her failure, she was later invited to an after-party with celebrities by a limo driver.

According to the complaint, the driver told her she “fit what Diddy was looking for.”

The lawsuit claims that after consuming a tiny amount of a drink that was served to her at the party, the plaintiff started to feel ill. She was about to lie down in an unoccupied bedroom when Combs, Carter, and another female celebrity entered the room. “You are ready to party!” Combs reportedly said to her.

According to the lawsuit, the unidentified celebrity, known only as Celebrity B, witnessed Combs and Carter rape her. After hitting Combs in the neck, the teenager managed to get out of the bedroom and fled the house to a nearby gas station, where she allegedly called her father for help.
