Gal Gadot, the star of Wonder Woman, recently revealed a terrifying health ordeal she faced shortly after welcoming her fourth child, daughter Ori.

The 38-year-old Israeli actress shared that, in March, she had to undergo emergency surgery for a blood clot in her brain, just weeks after giving birth.

During the last month of her pregnancy, Gadot endured excruciating headaches that left her bedridden.

Concerned by the severity of her symptoms, she underwent an MRI, which revealed the shocking diagnosis: cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). This rare condition involves a blood clot in the brain’s veins and can be life-threatening.

It was a stark reminder of how quickly everything can change.” She also expressed deep gratitude for the medical team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, who acted swiftly to perform the surgery.
