World Bank Contributed $430 Million To Ghana To Fight COVID-19 : Ghanaians React [See Reactions]

Pierre Laporte, the World Bank’s country director, recently reported that the World Bank had given Ghana almost $500 million to battle the deadly COVID-19 disease.

According to him, the World Bank contributed $430 million to Ghana’s fight against COVID-19, as well as an additional $130 million for vaccine purchases. What !!! Yeah, folks, you heard it right.

Many Ghanaians have reacted to the contents of his report, with many asking the government to account for the money, believing that not all of it was utilized to combat COVID-19.
