Samuel Atta Mills, brother of Ghana’s late former President John Evans Atta Mills, has remarked that the four Majority Members of Parliament want to cry more than the bereaved.
The Honorable Member of parliament added that he has lost respect for the Majority Chief Whip, Annoh Dompreh.
The four parliamentarians’ move, he claims, does not sit well with him and is a poor thing to do.
The MP for Komenda Edina said “It’s a bad issue. Why are they trying to cry more than the bereaved?”
“Annoh Dompreh is someone I used to respect from far away so he should not make me change my mind about him. Every year they have made it a point to remind us of the pain we suffered from the death of our brother,” he empasized
He continued by saying “You Annoh Dompreh, you care about Atta Mills more than Hon. J.B Danqauh’s murder in his house? Have you investigated that? If you want to do politics don’t bring our family issues into it.”

He elaborated saying “Annor Dompreh, you sit at the front desk in Parliament while people are suffering in Ghana. Teachers are going on strike and this is what you are thinking about.”
Background
Samuel Attah Mills couldn’t understand why the New Patriotic Party keeps reopening old wounds every year.
According to Samuel Atta Mills, Annoh Dompreh must concentrate on the current situation of affairs in the country.
And thus, assist the administration in meeting the needs of the suffering masses.
Samuel Atta Mills also stated that the family does not intend to support any Parliamentary probe.
The Honorable member continued by claiming that, they have the 37 Military Hospital autopsy report and are pleased with it.
