Popular Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie has excluded his father, Pete Edochie’s name from his list of Nigerian actors who have shape his acting career.
Yul took to social media on Wednesday July 14, 2020, to share with the his fans, and world in a post where he acknwoledged some of the great Nollywood actors who have positively impacted his acting career while he was growing up.
Yul Edochie named the likes of Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Ramsey Nuoah, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke, Chidi Mokeme, Muna Obiekwe, Emeka Enyiocha, Desmond Elliot, Mike Ezuruonye and Nonso Diobi as actors who shaped his acting.
“These Stars helped shape my career.
RMD, Ramsey, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke, Chidi Mokeme, Muna Obiekwe, Emeka Enyiocha, Desmond Elliot, Mike Ezuruonye, Nonso Diobi.
Then, if I no get money to buy their films I’ll rent from video club.
Not just to enjoy but to learn acting from them.” – he tweeted.

His post took a lot of social media users by a suprise as he took out his father’s name from the actor he look up to, it brought about mixed reactios, some users had to blast him for not including his dad and others also gave him their supports.
