Daughter of the former late President, Jerry John Rawlings, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings retains Korle Klottey seat for the NDC after NPP contender.

The existing Member of Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Zanetor Rawlings has been confirmed victorious, winning and retaining her seat at the Klottey Korle Constituency.

Zanetor managed to defeat her contender, Prince Appiah Debrah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the parliamentary elections.

Zanetor Rawlings retains Korle Klottey seat: She managed to poll a total of 37,189 votes, while the NPP had 33,126 votes. The total valid votes cast was 70,882 and rejected ballots 776.

Other parties, GUM polled 350, CPP had 61, 24 for GFP, 16 for GCPP, APC 10, LPG 17, PNC 14, PPP 43, NDP 21, and the independent candidate had 11 votes respectively.
