The nominees for the upcoming 2024 3Music Awards are out now.
The nominees for the forthcoming awards were staged as an electrifying Announcement Party at the fashionable Garage Bar & Lounge in East Legon.
The event was attended by Mr. Drew, Chief One, Keche, Lyrical Joe, D-Cryme, Cina Soul, and many others.
Since its inception in 2018, 3Music Awards has grown and evolved into a prestigious annual music awards ceremony held in Ghana that recognizes and honors outstanding achievements in the music industry, celebrating the talent and hard work of musicians, producers, directors, and other key industry players.
Kuami Eugene, a Lynx Entertainment singer and composer, leads the nominee pack for the 2024 awards with 9 nods, followed by 1Gad, better known as Sotnebwoy, who has 12 nominations. King Promise received the third most nods, with eight.
The “Artiste (MVP) of the Year” category will be contested by Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Mr. Drew, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy, with fans still trying to figure out why Shatta Wale is not in action.
Amerado, Black Sherif, Fameye, Jay Bahd, King Paluta, Lyrical Joe, Medikal, and Sarkodie, the landlord, are competing for the “Hiplife/Hip Hop Act of the Year” award. The “Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year” category includes Epixode, Ras Kuuku, Samini, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.
In the 3Music Awards 2024 group of the year category, the competition will be between CT Praise, DopeNation, FRA!, Keche, Lali X Lola, and Team Eternity. Meanwhile, Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Davido, JZyNO, Odumodublvck, Rema, Spyro, and Tyla are vying for the African Act of the Year prize.

As the 3Music Awards prepare for their September 2024 ceremony, the enthusiasm grows. Although a precise date has not yet been given, the release of the nominations is expected soon, increasing the anticipation.
