2024 Grammy Awards Nominees Date: Mark your calendars for November 10th, when the nominations for this celebrated music event will be revealed.
This announcement from the Recording Academy, which is responsible for presenting the annual Grammys, comes in the wake of several rule changes that will be implemented for the 2024 ceremony. The event will be broadcast live on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+.

Following two years that allowed for 10 nominees in each of the top categories such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist, the 66th Grammy Awards will introduce three additional categories: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording. This expansion brings the total number of categories to an impressive 94.
These new categories reflect the evolving music landscape and embrace a diverse range of musical talents and styles. Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating a broader array of musicianship.
How To Be Eligible For 2024 Grammy Awards
To be eligible for nomination at the upcoming Grammys, an album or song must have been released between October 1, 2022, and September 15, 2023. This unique 11-and-a-half-month eligibility window deviates slightly from the standard 12-month period used for the previous year’s show.
