American singer, Ben Folds and his fifth wife, Emma Sandall have finalized their divorce.
After six years of marriage, the lovers (Ben & Emma Sandall) call it a quit, the couple tied the knot back in January 20, 2017, in Hawaii.
Ben Folds according to reports filed for divorce in December 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. However, court documents list the date of separation as November 20, 2023, with the divorce finalized on February 27, 2024.
The documents state, “Immediately upon receipt of said funds from husband, wife shall take the necessary steps to execute a quitclaim deed relinquishing all right, title, and interest to the marital home to husband.”
Folds was ordered to pay Sandall $475,000 for any interest she has in the Nashville home that they shared while they were together.
He was also ordered to pay Sandall $650,000 in monthly payments of $27,083.33 over 24 months, plus her car insurance for another 12 months.
In addition, the 57-year-old singer will pay Sandall $50,000 for furniture, sign over the title to a 2016 Honda CR-V that was initially under his name, and give her $210,000 AUD from a National Australian Bank account. Sandall was Folds’s fifth wife.
