In the first leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final matchup against Bayern Munich, Vinicius Junior scored twice as Real Madrid emerged with a draw.
The Brazilian capitalised on two mistakes made by Kim Min-jae, the defender for Bayern. First, he outran him with speed and beat goalkeeper Manuel Neuer with a shot. Later, the South Korean fouled Rodrygo in the box, and Vinicius scored the penalty that followed.

After Lucas Vazquez tripped Jamal Musiala in the box, England captain Harry Kane scored a penalty of his own, beating custodian Andriy Lunin early in the second half.
Vinicius’s opening goal was nullified moments earlier by a powerful attempt from teammate Leroy Sane inside the near post.
After Bayern failed to capitalise on their early dominance, Vinicius was put in behind by a deft Toni Kroos through pass, and the game changed hands.
Bayern was behind against the run of play despite having six shots and more than 60% of the action in the opening 20 minutes, with Kane and Sane having the best of the chances.
However, a brutal four-minute stretch in the second half changed the course of the match and gave the German powerhouses their momentum back.
After the end of the match, Kim Min-Jae walked with a lowered head and didn’t stop in front of the journalists who were waiting in the mixed zone. Kim looked with a sad expression towards the reporters and said just one sentence in his native language: “I'm so sorry.” [@tonline] pic.twitter.com/Q39gTL1uuc

They exerted pressure on Real and might have regretted not taking an earlier lead.
Real Madrid was able to tie the match because to Kim’s error, which was an unnecessary tug on Rodrygo’s jersey in the 83rd minute. They will have home advantage in the second leg, which takes place at Bernabeu Stadium on Wednesday.
