Multiple award-winning singer and songwriter, Beyonce joins a tall list of celebs who have ventured into the alcohol business as she launches her new Whisky brand called new “SirDavis” under the LVMH empire.
Beyonce made the announcement via social media by taking to her verified Instagram account on Tuesday (August 20) morning to inform us about the launch of the brand.
Taking to Instagram, the singer was seen in a photo wearing a white dress, and holding a glass of dark liquid captioning the image “DAVIS IN MY BONES.”
The first images released of the beverage show a custom leather case with a ribbed glass bottle inside, featuring a logo with the famous horse Reneigh, who was first featured on the cover of Beyonce’s “Renaissance” album.
A trademark application filing for the brand, which includes the tagline “The future of whisky is here,” was filed in June by Moët Hennessy, a subsidiary of mega luxury goods brand LVMH.

The LVMH conglomerate is the parent company to brands like Louis Vuitton, Moët & Chandon, Tiffany, Dior, Sephora, Bulgari and dozens more. Its chairman, Bernard Arnault, has a net worth of $189.1 billion and is the world’s third richest person as of August 2024.
Adding this new collection to her catalog could see Beyoncé who was ranked 36th on Forbes’ list of Power Women in 2023 and at No. 45 on the 2024’s list of America’s wealthiest self-made women shoot up to becoming a billionaire.
According to Forbes, Beyonce’s net worth is predicted to be over $760 million as of May 2024, and she may soon join her husband, Jay Z, and her colleagues, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, who are all billionaires.

Beyoncé’s estimated net worth stems from her music career and other projects like as her now-defunct Ivy Park clothing brand with Adidas, a partnership with fashion house Balmain, perfume Cé Noir, and production firm Parkwood Entertainment.

eyoncé, who released her first country music album Cowboy Carter earlier this year, is not the first country musician to launch a whiskey; others include Daris Rucker (Backstage Southern Whiskey), Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley (Old Camp Whiskey), John Rich (Redneck Riviera), Jason Aldean (Wolf Moon Bourbon), and Willie Nelson (Old Whiskey River).
Her husband, Jay Z, is also part of the list of celebs who are into the alcohol business Jay Z is estimated to have made $300 million selling half of his luxury champagne brand Ace of Spades to LVMH in 2021 and $750 million selling a majority of his stake in D’ussé Cognac to Bacardi.
Beyoncé’s SirDavis costs $89.99. A 750ml bottle of SirDavis costs this amount according to the brand’s website. Bottles are planned to be shipped as early as September.
SirDavis is named after her great-grandfather, Davis, and she appears to be honoring his history through the brand. Her son is also named Sir.
