Cardi B has provided an important update on her health after being hospitalized, leading her to cancel her much-anticipated performance at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest.
Just three days before she was scheduled to hit the stage, the “WAP” rapper announced on Wednesday, October 23 through an Instagram post that she wouldn’t be able to perform due to a medical emergency.
“I am so sad to share this news,” Cardi wrote, “but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.”
Though she did not reveal specifics about her condition, Cardi expressed her deep disappointment in missing out on the festival and the chance to see her fans. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend, and I really wish I could be there,” she added.
In her message, Cardi also reassured her followers that she is focused on recovery, promising, “I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all.”
ONE MusicFest also showed its support for Cardi B, resharing her post with a heartfelt statement.
The festival expressed its understanding of her decision to withdraw due to “ongoing health issues” and encouraged fans to keep her in their prayers for a swift recovery. The organizers added, “We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More to come soon.”
This health scare follows several major life changes for Cardi. In September, she welcomed her third child with her estranged husband Offset, just a month after filing for divorce following seven years of marriage.
Despite the challenges, Cardi has remained positive, focusing on her new chapter as a mother of three. She shares her daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3, with Offset.

Reflecting on her journey, Cardi shared an emotional message in August ahead of her third baby’s arrival: “With every ending comes a new beginning!” She expressed her gratitude, saying, “You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all renewed my power!
