Tom Brady made his first appearance in the NFL broadcasting booth on Sunday, November 3, just days after his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen announced she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente.
Joining partner Kevin Burkhardt, Brady provided commentary for the highly anticipated NFC North matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.
As the game kicked off under challenging weather conditions, with rain and wind creating slippery turf, Brady quipped, “This isn’t pretty weather football,” but expressed enthusiasm for the rivalry, saying he was “fired up about this one.” The Lions ultimately triumphed, winning the game 24-24.
This marks Brady’s first season as the lead NFL analyst for Fox, and he has received positive feedback as he continues to find his footing in broadcasting.
Earlier in the week, Brady shared a reflective Instagram post featuring a sunset and lyrics from The Chicks’ cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” shortly after news of Bündchen’s pregnancy broke.

The lyrics touched on themes of self-discovery and personal challenges, resonating with Brady’s experiences following his public divorce from Bündchen in 2022.

Brady has previously spoken about the difficulties of navigating personal issues while under the spotlight, acknowledging the unique challenges that come with public life.
The couple shares two children, Benjamin Rein, 14, and Vivian Lake, 11, and they finalized their divorce with an agreement for joint custody.

Meanwhile, Bündchen, 44, is looking forward to this new chapter in her life with Valente, 37, as they prepare to welcome a child together.
A source confirmed that the couple is excited about creating a loving and peaceful environment for their growing family.
