Texas Man Gets 40 Years for Killing Stepdaughter’s Ex Over Threatened Nude Photos

A Texas man, Jessie Clifford Brown, 42, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after being convicted of murder for killing his stepdaughter’s ex-boyfriend in 2015.

The victim, John Allen Franco, was shot in the head after allegedly threatening to distribute a nude photo of Brown’s stepdaughter.

Franco, 24, was found dead in his truck in a ravine in Liberty City on May 20, 2015.

A woman who was in the vehicle with Franco at the time of the shooting reported seeing a blue truck approach, followed by three men who confronted Franco.

For years, the case remained unsolved, with various suspects and rumors circulating. However, in 2017, a witness came forward, revealing that Brown and two other men were involved in the fatal shooting.

According to authorities, Brown had taken matters into his own hands after Franco allegedly sent a nude photo to his stepdaughter, threatening to distribute it.

Investigators believe that Brown and the other men were attempting to get Franco’s phone, which contained the inappropriate images of Brown’s stepdaughter.
