In an unprecedented move, U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, making history as the first sitting president to do so.
According to a White House official, Trump will be in attendance for the much anticipated game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET.
This year marks the Chiefs’ third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, a testament to the team’s impressive performance in recent seasons.
Fans are eager to watch as the Chiefs go head-to-head with the Eagles in what promises to be an exciting and intense matchup.
In addition to attending the game, Trump is set to appear on Fox News for an exclusive interview with Bret Baier.
The interview, recorded at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, will air during the Fox pregame show at 3 p.m. ET.

This marks a significant return to the spotlight for Trump, who has made several football-related appearances in recent months.
Just weeks ago, he delivered a virtual address during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on January 20, mere hours after his inauguration. He also made an appearance at a Jets-Steelers game in Pittsburgh last October.
Trump’s attendance at the Super Bowl is a notable departure from the past two years when President Joe Biden declined invitations for interviews with Fox News and CBS News during Super Bowl pregame coverage.
As the first sitting president to attend the iconic event, Trump’s presence is certain to attract attention and add an extra layer of excitement to an already thrilling game.
