A 23-year-old New York man has been arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of a child after allegedly raping a 7-year-old boy he was babysitting and sharing the videos of the assault on the dark web.
Ramel Warner, also known as “Menah,” is accused of the horrific abuse that took place in 2022, during which he allegedly recorded several videos of the assault.
One of the videos was reportedly over four minutes long, showing disturbing images of sexual penetration and other abusive acts. Authorities say Warner posted the videos to the dark web.
The victim, the son of a family friend, was left traumatized by the abuse. Warner had been entrusted with the boy’s care but instead committed unspeakable acts.

As part of his job, Warner had close access to children in schools and after-school programs in Brooklyn, where he was also involved in a local dance group for minors at a middle school.
The FBI believes that there could be other victims, given Warner’s connections in the community.
The FBI has urged anyone with information about the case to come forward. “We believe there may be more victims, and we are committed to holding Warner accountable,” said FBI Assistant Director James E. Dennehy.
“These actions are unconscionable, and we will continue to protect children from such harm.”
Warner was arrested in January following his indictment by a grand jury and is currently awaiting trial. If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
