Conor McGregor Sets His Sights on Ireland’s Presidency: “Vote McGregor and Have Your Voice Heard!”

Conor McGregor, the UFC superstar known for his larger-than-life persona, has officially declared his intention to run for the presidency of Ireland.

On Thursday, March 20, McGregor shared the news on social media, telling his followers that he aims to give the Irish people a true voice in their country’s future.

McGregor’s decision to pursue the presidency stems from his passionate opposition to the proposed EU Migration Pact.

This topic had been on McGregor’s radar ever since his recent visit to the White House, where he discussed it with former U.S. President Donald Trump.

McGregor, in a message posted online, made it clear that he sees the pact as something that could drastically affect Ireland’s future, and he is prepared to challenge the government on it.

“The next presidential election must take place by 11 Nov 2025,” McGregor wrote. “Who else will stand up to Government and oppose this bill? Any other Presidential candidate they attempt to put forward will be of no resistance to them. I will!”

He urged citizens to make their voices heard, saying, “All citizens of Ireland to have a voice and a choice on their future!”

McGregor, who has hinted at his political aspirations in the past, believes Ireland needs a president who is fully dedicated to the people.

He previously stated, “Ireland needs an active President employed wholly by the people of Ireland. It is me. I am the only logical choice. 2025 is upcoming…”

In his announcement, McGregor called on Irish citizens to rally behind him and show their support for his candidacy.

“Vote McGregor and have your voice heard!” he declared, setting the stage for what could be a highly anticipated presidential race in the coming years.
