A well-known Houston-area restaurant owner is facing federal charges in connection with a fiery explosion that rocked a popular local bar in 2020.
Lyndell Price, former co-owner of the Turkey Leg Hut and current owner of The Oyster Hut, has been indicted alongside Armani Williams, 27, and John Lee Price, 39.
The three are accused of conspiring to commit arson at Bar 5015, which was co-owned by Lyndell’s former business partner.
According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Houston, the group allegedly plotted to burn down the bar by pouring gasoline on the entrance ramp and setting it on fire in the early hours of June 12, 2020.
The incident caused a dramatic explosion, scattering debris and igniting multiple small fires around the property.
Federal investigators say Lyndell Price orchestrated the plot, recruiting Williams and John Price to carry out the act.

Court documents allege that the group purchased gasoline, gas cans, and face coverings at a local truck stop before heading to the bar to commit the arson.
Once the fire was set, Williams reportedly called Lyndell to say the job was done.
All three men were arrested and have been charged with conspiracy to commit arson and arson of a commercial property.
Lyndell and John Price also face an additional charge related to a separate vehicle arson—a stolen 1975 Chevy Nova that was torched in a different scheme.
If convicted, the men could face up to 25 years in federal prison, with an additional five years for the vehicle-related charge.
All suspects appeared in court on Friday and were released pending future hearings.
John Price’s attorney, Letitia Quinones-Hollins, told local media that the case is a reminder to “be mindful of the company you keep.” She also clarified that despite sharing a last name, John and Lyndell Price are not related.
