2025 BET Awards Nominations: See Full List

The complete list of the 2025 BET Awards has finally been released.

The nominees for the 25th Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards were officially released on Thursday, May 8, 2025, and rapper Kendrick Lamar takes the lead once more.

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominations with a staggering 10 nods, including Album of the Year for GNX, and Video of the Year for his Drake diss “Not Like Us” and three viewer’s choice award notices for “Not Like Us,” “Luther” (feat. SZA) and “Like That” (with Future & Metro Boomin).

Following closely are Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, each with six nominations, while Metro Boomin garners five. SZA and The Weeknd are also in the spotlight, picking up four nominations apiece.

Elsewhere, In the Best International Act category, Ghana’s Black Sherif will be facing strong competition from fellow African and international artists. The category includes nominees such as Tyla (South Africa), Rema and Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Any Gabrielly and Luanna (Brazil), Uncle Waffles (Swaziland), Joé Dwèt Filé and SDM (France), Ezra Collective and Basky (UK), and many others.

The 2025 edition of the BET Awards is scheduled to take place on June 9th, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET, broadcasting live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will be hosted by popular comedian Kevin Hart, promising fans an unforgettable night filled with music, comedy, and major wins.

This year’s ceremony marks a significant milestone for the BET brand, and the list of nominees showcases a powerful mix of mainstream and emerging artists.
