Oklahoma Man forces 911 dispatcher to choose where he should stab his father

A 41-year-old Oklahoma man identified as Erick Nimsey allegedly stabbed his own father while on the phone with a 911 dispatcher, even asking which body part he should attack next.

The unsettling call came from Nimsey himself on Monday, from an apartment complex just outside Oklahoma City. Authorities say that during the call, Nimsey could be heard questioning the dispatcher, “You want left or right foot? Which one do you want, dispatcher?”

The dispatcher, clearly baffled, attempted to make sense of the situation as Nimsey appeared to mock her, saying, “Say left or right, and this will be on you.”

According to KWTV, the operator desperately tried to keep Nimsey talking for more than six minutes before police came. Meanwhile, as the alleged attack proceeded, Nimsey’s father, 63-year-old Eddie Davis, could be heard shouting in evident anguish.

During the call, Nimsey delivered a disturbing warning: “If you don’t answer in three seconds, then I’m going to assume you said ‘left,’ OK?” The dispatcher, agitated, could only react with, “What is happening?”?”

When officers reached the scene, Nimsey reportedly refused to open the door, telling the dispatcher, “If you want it open, you can kick it in.” Officers then forcibly entered the residence, where they found Davis in critical condition in the kitchen.

Nimsey, without resistance, was located in another room, already on his knees with hands behind his back.

Eddie Davis was immediately rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Nimsey began making strange and insane claims after his arrest, according to authorities. He allegedly claimed to be 120 years old, accused officers of planning to kill his mother, and threatened to use wild animals such as “lions and tigers” to harm people.

In addition to the threats, Nimsey repeatedly asked officers, “Do you believe in mercy?” raising further concerns about his mental state at the time of the incident.

He is now facing serious charges, including domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and domestic assault and battery resulting in great bodily harm.

Nimsey was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center with a bond set at $25,000.

As of now, the motive behind the violent outburst remains unclear, and authorities have not confirmed whether Nimsey has a documented history of mental illness. The investigation is ongoing.
