Canadian rapper cum singer, Drake returns with a brand new music titled “What Did I Miss.”

Thus new Drake song was officially released on July 4th 2025, off his upcoming album titled “Iceman, and yes, its the first official song off the mentioned musical project.

In this song the rapper shared some light on his fallout with fellow rapper, Kendrick Lamar. The song following its release has brought about mixed reactions amongst fans with some bashing Drake for the song, as some feel it was not needed.

Drake expresses frustration toward people who were once close but now associate with his rivals. The question “What did I miss?” becomes symbolic of him realizing these betrayals after the fact.

In this new hip hop release, Drake highlights how people only show up when it benefits them; “nobody cares until they’re in front of your tombstone.”
