Rapper Cardi B has revealed she is pregnant with her fourth child—her first with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Grammy-winning star confirmed the exciting news during a pre-taped appearance on “CBS Mornings”, hosted by Gayle King.
The 32-year-old mother of three could hardly contain her joy, telling King, “I’m excited.” Cardi went on to share, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” while also revealing that her due date will arrive just before her highly anticipated Little Miss Drama tour in February.
“I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” she added.
The announcement comes as Cardi gears up for the release of her new album, Am I The Drama?, set to drop on September 19. Despite the pressure of an album rollout, the Bronx-born rapper stressed that she’s feeling grounded and fulfilled.
“I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she explained. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is that I feel like we’re really great, we’re really the best at what we do.”
While Cardi admitted she hadn’t told her parents before making the on-air announcement, she stood by her decision: “I felt like can I just say it on my own time, I’m not hiding.”
The rapper credited Diggs with helping her feel empowered and secure during what she acknowledged has been a challenging season.
“He just makes me feel safe and very confident,” Cardi gushed. “And it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”
Since sharing her pregnancy news publicly, she humorously asked fans to show their support where it counts: “Now y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told you. Now go support my album, ‘cause I’m a mother of four now.”
Cardi and Diggs confirmed their romance three months ago when they were spotted enjoying a courtside date at a New York Knicks game. Their relationship became public following her split from rapper Offset, with whom she shares three children—Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 12 months.
Cardi officially filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, just weeks after announcing Blossom’s birth. By December, she hinted she was “dating” again, later making her new romance official with Diggs in February during a Valentine’s Day getaway in Miami.
By June, Cardi was sharing glimpses of their love on social media, including a now-deleted clip of the two dancing on a yacht and a photo of a lavish flower delivery, where she exclaimed, “Jesus Christ, oh boy.”
