Charterhouse Ghana, the body responsible for organizing the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has released the list of nominees for the best Best African Artiste Of The Year category for this year’s edition.
The announcement was made earlier today, Saturday, April 3, 2021, in Accra Ghana, according to Charterhouse the nominations will be released on an hourly basis.
This year’s awards mark the 22nd edition of the award ceremony. And the announcement of the nominees started from 11:00 am and will go through to 8:00 pm for the final and complete list to be out.
The best African Artiste Of The Year category this time around is gonna be a tough one, as the big acts in the African continent had their names stamped in the list.
The likes of the 2021 Grammy Awards winning act, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Fireboy DML, Omah Lay all from Nigeria, and South Africa’s own Master KG will be battling it out to see who comes out as the biggest act in Africa.

Will Burna Boy be able to retain the title after winning in the same category last year after beating the likes of ; Big Trill, Teni, Davido, Sho Madjozi, Mercy Chinwo, Rudebwoy
