New information reaching Townflex has it that the 90-days jail sentence handed to Ghanaian Socialite Akuapem Poloo has been set aside and that she will be fined instead.
On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, the Court Of Appeal set aside the 3 moths prison sentence of Ghanaian socialite, Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo.
This good news comes after several attempts by her legal team (lawyers) led by Andrew Kudzo Vortia filing appeals to get her client out of jail but wasn’t successful till now.

Court Frees Akuapem Poloo: Akupem Poloo who was then supposed to spend 90-days in jail has now been instead of a jail term fined GHc12,000 (1000 penalty)..
Prior to this, she was handed a 90-day jail term by the Accra Circuit Court presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey on Wednesday, December 1, 202`1 for publishing obscene material and violating the dignity and integrity of her seven-year-old son in a nude photo she posted on social media in June, 2020.
