American singer Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour has become the first-ever tour to break the billion-dollar milestone, raking in a staggering estimated $1.04 billion in gross ticket sales, according to live-music trade publication Pollstar.
The publication revealed that this achievement surpassed all previous records in ticket sales for the 12 months from November 17, 2022, to November 15, 2023, dethroning Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour, which now sits in second place.

The “Eras” tour, consisting of 60 shows, reportedly sold an impressive 4.35 million tickets, with merchandise sales contributing an additional $200 million during the annual run.

Pollstar predicts that this unprecedented success will continue, forecasting that ticket sales from the next eligible box-office year will once again surpass the $1 billion mark, propelling the tour’s total earnings to an astonishing $2 billion.
The financial triumph of the tour translates to substantial earnings for Taylor Swift, who has not only cemented her status as a musical powerhouse but has also demonstrated generosity.
Swift has distributed over $50 million in total bonuses to her concert crew, acknowledging their contribution to the tour’s success.
Additionally, every truck driver responsible for hauling the tour’s equipment around the country has received an extra $100,000 bonus.
