(Townflex – Accra Ghana November 22) – Information reaching the stables of Townflex has it that a Forex bureau at Abeka, Lapaz just got hit in a daylight robbery with robbers making off with cash and vanishing without a trace just moments before the Ghana Police arrived. Video from incident below.
According to information received by our writer, @xorkpe, who happened to be at the location the incident took place, at Abeka Lapaz, close to a fuel filling station, the bold daylight robbery took place on Friday Morning, November 22 2024.
Eyewitnesses narrated that the robbers, fully armed, stormed the Forex bureau and executed their plan with precision. Surprisingly, reports suggest that the robbers seemingly disappeared into thin air upon the arrival of Ghana Police Service personnel.
The robbers went in, and never came out, with no tracce leaving a lot schocked as to how they managed to just vanish into thing air.
Although we currently have do not have more information to share, we were told by @xorkpe that police efforts to apprehend the suspects did result in one arrest. A young man, whose identity and age remain undisclosed, was detained after he claimed ownership of a motorbike linked to the robbers.
The suspect is currently in police custody for further questioning.
The chaotic scene, captured on video belo, shows commuters and passersby gathering in disbelief, while the footage also highlights the detained suspect, wearing a yellow top, standing alongside a police officer prior to his arrest.
