Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie has responded to the controversial opinion made by his dad, veteran actor ‘Pete Edochie” about gifting in marriage.
In a trending video, while talking more about the best way to propose to a woman, Pete Edochie also talked about the best way to keep a marriage relation tight.
According to the veteran actor, he advised fathers who want to gift their married daughters gifts such as cars, to register the car in the daughter’s husband’s name.
He added that, if the car is registered in the name of the daughter instead of the name of his son-in-law it means the father is trying to destroy the mairriage of his daughter, but by doing what he advised, the father is securing a good and lasting marriage for his daughter.
Nollywood Actor and Presidential Aspirant, Yul Edochie in reacting to this controversial statement made by his father disagreed completely with all that Pete Edochie said.
He took to his verified Instagram page and wrote saying, if he is supposed to buy a car as a wedding gift for her daughter, he will register it in her name or whichever name she wants him to register it in.

For me, if I buy a car for my daughter @danielleyuledochie as a wedding gift, I’ll give it to her to register in whatever name she likes.
If she asks me to do the registration for her then I’ll register it in HER name.
