With her most recent attempt to set a Guinness World Record, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum captured the nation’s attention. By singing Ghanaian songs for 126 hours and 52 minutes, the journalist from Ghana unofficially set a new record.
Afua has been spotted a few times while she waits for her official confirmation from the Guinness World Record, including at the Black Stars’ farewell dinner that was recently held.
President Nana Akufo-Addo and Kurt Okraku, the head of the Ghana Football Association, were among the dignitaries present at the Black Stars’ farewell dinner before their upcoming AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

During the event, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, who was recently appointed as an ambassador by Ghana’s Tourism Authority, delighted the audience by performing her skill.
Afua Asantewaa Aduonum serenaded guests with the national anthem during the event while wearing a Black Stars jersey and a Ghana flag around her neck.
Many of her fans have expressed their admiration for her audacious attempt at a sing-a-thon after seeing a video of her performance posted on online.
