An Arkansas parent was placed under arrest following another man’s shooting death during a “confrontation” involving the father’s 14-year-old daughter.
Around 1:12 a.m. on October 8, the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a kid who had gone missing.
The 14-year-old girl’s father, Aaron Spencer, “had located the juvenile in a vehicle with Michael Fosler,” they learnt while going to the scene.
“A confrontation between the two adult males ensued, which resulted in a shooting,” stated the sheriff.
To that effect, an investigation was launched right away by the deputies.
Meanwhile, Aaron Spencer was placed under arrest after Michael Fosler was declared dead at the scene.

Although Spencer was charged with first-degree murder in the initial announcement, Sheriff John Stanley later released a follow-up video in which he stated that the allegations against Spencer were only preliminary and that it is ultimately up to the prosecutors to decide whether or not to press charges.
As of right now, no formal charges have been brought.
I have not supported any particular accusation, and I will not do so.
“My prayers and thoughts are with all those involved in this tragic situation,” he continued.
Stanley claimed to be able to provide “limited details” about the case at this time, but in the meantime, a woman posing as Heather Spencer has been making fresh accusations on social media and dubbed her husband’s detention “outrageous.”
The woman expressed her desire for their story to be “shared far and wide,” claiming that her daughter had been “targeted, groomed, and ultimately raped by the boyfriend of a family friend.”
She said they had a no-contact order against Fosler and that they had “no idea” their child was speaking to him once more.
Sheriff Stanley told USA Today that Fosler was detained in July and charged with sexual assault and child stalking on the internet. He was later freed on bond.
“This guy that preyed upon their daughter was released on bond, and had we stopped him that night and got him with her, that bond would have been revoked,” Stanley further disclosed to the media.
“He never could have escaped from prison. He could not have been released by any of the bond businesses. We refused to release him.”
The only person who could see him was our daughter, and he was staring at the remainder of his miserable life behind bars.
Heather Spencer posted on Facebook, saying, “We 100% in the moment thought he had taken her to kill her.”
She later claimed, on a fundraising page, that her husband had started “blindly searching for our child.”
“With the unwavering grace of God, my spouse was able to overtake the man who was driving on our street while our small child was inside.”
The predator fled as soon as he saw my husband was following him,” Heather asserted.

Aaron saved our child by pulling him out alive, but not before he had to defend both our small child and himself from an attacker. He is currently being accused of heinous murder (1).”
It is imperative that the suspect’s wife believes that “our child would not have come home if my husband hadn’t found her.”
“I absolutely do not support predators,” Stanley declared in a statement to USA TODAY, providing an explanation for the arrest: “When we get on scene and there’s a homicide, it means one person took the life of another.
” It can be justified or it can’t. That is the information that the fact seeking and inquiry will reveal.”
“All my deputies and investigators knew at that time is there’s a deceased man, a 14-year-old that was in the truck with him, and a dad saying ‘Hey, I stopped him for this,'” he stated.
Stanley said in an interview with TooFab on Monday that detectives are still “working to finish up the file to send to the prosecutor.”
