Respected writer, commentator, and pundit for Ghanaian entertainment, Arnold Baidoo Asamoah, mostly associated with Despite Media, has started a one-man effort to expose Afua Asantewaa’s dishonesty.
Arnold Asamoah stated that Afua Asantewaa received the outcome of her attempt earlier, as reported online, but chose to keep it a secret from the public because she was still receiving deals when appearing on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review programme with Kwesi Aboagye.
He claims that most cooperating institutions decided to collaborate with the sing-a-thon attemptee because they considered her as a possible winner and that Afua chose to conceal it because being disqualified would have cost her some business.

Arnold thinks that Afua’s choice to keep the outcome a secret will damage her reputation and portray her as a dishonest person, and no company wants to work with someone who is dishonest.
Since no company would want to collaborate with an untrustworthy individual, it would have been preferable to just come forward and tell it like it was. Therefore, it is incorrect to claim that she received the news while she was preparing to conduct a show,” he stated.
