Barcelona Bosnia midfielder respond to his future move away from Camp Nou ahead of the summer transfer
Miralem Pjanic may not have enjoyed a key role at Barcelona last season but hasn’t ruled out staying at the club for the 2021/22 campaign.
The former Juventus midfielder stressed that no decision has been made regarding his future and that he will join the team’s preseason preparations that begin in July.
“Leaving Barcelona? It’s difficult to talk about that now,” Pjanic said in an interview for Federalna TV.
“I’m enjoying the holidays with my family and that’s all I’m thinking about. The preparations for the new season start in July and then I’ll join up with the team. We’ll see what happens later on.”

Barcelona signed Pjanic from Juventus last summer in exchange of 60 million euros plus five million euros in variables, but rumours have been sparked over his possible Camp Nou departure this summer.
However, cashing in on Pjanic will not be an easy task for Barcelona as he has another three years on his contract and his salary is very high, which could be an obstacle for potential suitors.
