The Camp Nou boss believes they have the quality to add a real edge to the team and help them compete in the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Spanish giants will need to offload some his players this summer if they are to register their new signings.

It seems unlikely Barcelona will be able to fulfil all of Xavi’s wish list, but a message from the club seems the club will be able to do some business if they manage to bring in some income.

There is hope at Barcelona that several players will depart the club this summer, but it might not be as easy as they would like.

The Catalan giants are hoping to secure a sum of around €700 million by selling off Barca Licensing & Merchandising and future television rights.

It is important for the Camp Nou side to move on some high earners in order to create some financial wriggle room, as they look to adhere to LaLiga’s salary cap rules whilst also having the possibility of bringing in some fresh blood.

Below are some of the possible players Barcelona will cash in to make way for Xavi’s wishlist.

Samuel Umtiti is one of the players Barcelona have been trying to get rid of for years, the club are willing to offload him after his high salary and his lack of availability due to injuries became a massive problem.

Braithwaite has been an afterthought after returning from injury since Xavi Hernandez was appointed as head coach.

The 21-year-old Sergino Dest is another player Barcelona are looking to cash in on but he also wants to remain in Catalonia.

The Brazilian goalkeeper Neto who is into the last year of his contract at the Camp Nou wants to to hang on and leave as a free agent.
