The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards took place tonight and as usual, Townflex is here to serve you with the complete list of nominees and winners.

The BET Hip Hop Awards are an annual awards show, airing on BET, showcasing hip hop performers, producers, and music video directors. The awards ceremony began in 2006.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2022 ceremony took place on Tuesday, October 4, live from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA, hosted by Grammy®-nominated recording artist, actor, and entrepreneur, Fat Joe,


The awards night was climaxed with performances from Dead Prez, Lil Kim, and Fat Joe. Pusha T’s performance included a surprise Clipse reunion, and a star-studded Loud Records tribute featuring Wu-Tang Clan.

The likes of Glorilla won the award for the ‘Breakout Artist’, Drink Champs won the best Hip Hop Platform award, and DJ Drama won the award for the best ‘DJ of the Year.

American rapper, Kendrick Lamar swept home six awards, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Best Live Performer, and Best Hip Hop Video. Drake won three awards.
