Britney Spears recently had a heartwarming reunion with her 18-year-old son, Jayden James Federline, at her Los Angeles home.
On November 11, a source shared with PEOPLE that the mother-son duo spent quality time together, and it was clear that the reunion brought Britney a great deal of happiness.
Jayden, who had moved to Hawaii with his father, Kevin Federline, and his wife, Victoria Prince, earlier this year, has been visiting his mom in California.
The teenager, along with his older brother Sean Preston, 19, has been living with Federline and his family since the move, which took place in May 2023.
Britney, who shares her sons with ex-husband Kevin, had given her consent for the boys to relocate, wanting them to have a fresh start away from the intense media spotlight of Los Angeles.
The reunion comes after months of separation, with Jayden and his brother having been away from their mom while she continued her life in Los Angeles.

A source close to the family revealed that spending time together with her son has been a source of joy for Britney. “Spending time together has made her happy,” the insider said.
The move to Hawaii has provided a new chapter for Kevin and his family, with opportunities for career growth and a more peaceful life in a quieter environment.
Federline, who also has two younger children with his wife, said that the move was also motivated by job offers for his wife from a Hawaiian university.
In her recent interviews and memoir The Woman in Me, Britney opened up about how much being a mom means to her, describing it as “a dream come true.”
The pop star has always been a hands-on mom, with her sons often accompanying her on tour and during her Las Vegas residency.
Despite the challenges of co-parenting, Britney and Kevin continue to support each other in raising their boys, with both parents prioritizing their children’s well-being and happiness.
