Popular Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas, the demise of creatives shouldn’t be caused by budget cuts.
On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, Nigerian star Junior Pope died in a boat accident. Before passing away, the deceased Nollywood star posted one last video online in which he was seen floating on a boat without a life jacket.
He was not prepared to abandon his three children, so he kept shouting at the boat rider to slow down.

But finally, the boat capsized, and he was among the five tragically died.
Reacting to this on X, Joselyn Dumas divulged, “Being refused the basic welfare needs on a production/film set in the name of the budget constraint is a total violation of the right of a creative! may our lives not end abruptly in pursuit of our daily bread 🙏🏽. We must do better RIP #juniorpope May God comfort and strengthen his family. 🙏🏽💔,”
