Gyakie, also known as Jackline Acheampong, is a well-known singer and composer from Ghana who has shared her story of becoming well-known in the country’s music industry.
Gyakie talked about how she never used to pay attention to her voice until her excitement was raised when her debut song got public attention on Luv FM’s Drive Time on Luv show with Melvin Da Enigma.
She was raised in a very rigorous household by her famous father, Nana Acheampong, and occasionally had the opportunity to work with him in the studio and at concerts.

She wasn’t expecting a spectacular comeback, so her interaction with SOSA wasn’t that exciting. However, as she began singing nonstop to the beats she was given, her innate creativity came to the surface and she began to realise that she could actually create songs.
“Never Like This,” her breakout hit, became popular in Ghana. The singer, who was still in school and unable to do interviews, was not as well-known as the song.
Later, Gyakie launched her debut EP, “SEED,” which helped her gain notoriety in Ghanaian music and saw her hit song, “Forever,” go viral abroad.

The singer revealed, “After my songs were widely received with open arms, he got into a comfortable seat. He was being very strict and keen on my every move.
