Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy has bagged seven nominations for the 2023 edition of the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
The organizers of the annually held award scheme officially released the complete list of nominees on Friday, September 8th.
The self-styled African Giant emerged as one of the fewer nominated artistes that got multiple nods this year with seven category nominations.
The Nigerian star rocks shoulders with DJ Khaled to round out the top five with an impressive seven nods each.
The self-styled African Giant was nominated for the ‘Hip-Hop Artiste of the Year’, ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Best Hip-Hop Video’, ‘Best Collaboration’, ‘Best Live Performer’, ‘Lyricist of the Year’, and ‘Hustler of the Year’ categories.

Across 17 categories, Cardi B and 21 Savage garnered the most nominations with 12 each, trailed by Drake, who is up for nine awards. J. Cole scores six nods. Coi Leray, GloRilla, and Jay-Z are tied at five nods each.
