1. The Peace Walk

Starting Point: T-Junction, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel
Destination: El Wak Sports Stadium
Kick off the day with the Peace Walk, a symbolic event encouraging individuals and communities to take bold steps toward peace and sustainable development. Participants will gather at the T-Junction near La Palm Royal Beach Hotel and walk together to the El Wak Sports Stadium. This event is open to everyone—families, friends, and peace advocates—and promises to be an inspiring experience.
2. The Veterans Cup
Time: 9:00 AM Sharp
Venue: El Wak Sports Stadium
After the Peace Walk, the excitement continues with the Veterans Cup, a thrilling football match between two legendary teams:
- Nii Ashitey Burma XI
- Ghana Armed Forces XI
This match is more than just a game; it’s a celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and the enduring spirit of service. Football fans and supporters are encouraged to come out and cheer for their favorite teams in this unforgettable showdown.
