Latest Entertainment News (Townflex) – Celine Dion, the iconic singer, made a rare public appearance on Monday evening in Las Vegas, Nevada, as she continues to battle stiff-person syndrome. Watch Video Below.
The 55-year-old superstar reemerged into the public eye after a three-and-a-half-year absence, bringing joy to her fans. She attended an exciting hockey match between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vegas Golden Knights.
Chantal Machabée, Montreal’s vice president of hockey communications, captured this heartwarming moment and shared it on her Instagram.
In the video, Celine Dion, radiating positivity, warmly embraced Machabée, symbolizing her unwavering spirit and the support she receives as she confronts stiff-person syndrome.
“A great visit to our game in Vegas yesterday. Thank you Celine Dion for your generosity. The whole team was very happy to meet you and your family,” Machabée wrote alongside the photos.
After the game, Celine, along with her son René-Charles and her twins Nelson and Eddy, posed for pictures with some of the athletes.
Since revealing her diagnosis of Moersch-Woltman Syndrome in December 2022, the Grammy winner has maintained a low profile. This rare neurological disorder, often referred to as Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), inflicts painful muscle spasms on its sufferers.
Celine’s older sister, Claudette Dion, aged 74, expressed her concern and helplessness, as it appears there’s little they can do to support their resilient sister and alleviate her pain.
Dion disclosed her condition in December, leading to the cancellation of her Courage World Tour. Watch Video below.
