Ghana’s active Covid-19 case keep rising, as latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) confirms that the active cases now stands at 1,156.
According to the new updates from GHS, a total of 198 new cases have been recorded, which suggests that the CoronaVirus respiratory disorder is still at the rise. reaching this this new number within a week.
Cound this mean that Ghanaians are not obeying the COVID-19 protocols set in place to regulate the spread of the pandemic?
Ghana’s COVID-19 chart shows that the total number of cases confirmed in the country as of Sunday, November 8th, 2020 stands at 49,202.
And out the total 49,202 cases, 47,726 persons have recovered and discharged, 320 persons have lost their lives while the current/active cases (people who are still infected) stands at 1,156.
Greater Accra Region still tops the chart as the capital of the country has recorded over 26,000 cases followed by Kumasi with over 11,000, with North East Region recording the lowest number of cases less than 20, check out full list below.
