Cuba Gooding Jr. Accused of Sexually Assaulting Producer Lil Rod on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s Yacht: Lawsuit

Allegations of sexual assault have resurfaced, this time entangling the renowned actor Cuba Gooding Jr. in a legal imbroglio initiated by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr., who served a lawsuit against Sean Diddy Combs this past February.

Jones, a former associate of Combs, leveled serious accusations in a civil complaint lodged in a New York federal court, contending that over the span of a year, Combs subjected him to s3xual harassment, drugging, and menacing behavior.

While Gooding’s name was mentioned in the initial filing, an amended version of the lawsuit, unveiled this Monday, now designates him as a co-defendant.

According to Jones’s grievance, the Oscar-winning actor allegedly engaged in unwanted physical contact aboard a yacht in the U.S. Virgin Islands, chartered by Combs in January 2023.

Jones recounted numerous occasions during which Gooding allegedly made unwanted physical contact, describing instances where he purportedly touched, groped, and fondled different areas of his body. These encounters left Jones profoundly disturbed and uncomfortable.

The complaint further insinuates that Combs, in introducing Jones to Gooding, may have had ulterior motives, perhaps intending to orchestrate introductions to acquaintances in his circle.

Jones claims to have rebuffed advances from Gooding, prompting the actor to desist only after Jones forcefully pushed him away.

The lawsuit has expanded its scope to implicate Combs’ son Justin, chief of staff Kristina Khorram, and Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge as additional defendants.

In an initial response to the lawsuit in February, Shawn Holley, legal counsel for Combs, vehemently denied the allegations, characterizing Jones as a fabricator seeking unjust enrichment through baseless claims.

This is not the first time Gooding has been embroiled in allegations of $exual misconduct. In April 2022, he pleaded guilty to forcibly touching a woman at a rooftop bar in New York City in 2018.

Additionally, in June 2023, Gooding reached a settlement in a lawsuit alleging he r@ped a woman on two occasions in 2013.

This week, federal agents executed raids on two properties belonging to Combs as part of an ongoing investigation, according to a spokesperson from Homeland Security Investigations.

Monday’s inquiry marks another encounter with the legal system for Combs.

Back in April 1999, Combs faced arrest and initial allegations of felony second-degree assault and criminal mischief. This stemmed from an altercation with music executive Steve Stoute, sparked by a disagreement over imagery in a music video featuring Nas, Combs’ client.

Ultimately, Combs admitted to a lesser charge of harassment and reportedly settled out of court with Stoute for $500,000. Click “Next Page” To Continue Reading the Post.
