Davido has taken to Instagram to delete all his Instagram posts, leaving behind only three posts as he readies to release a new song in March after long social media hiatus

Popular Nigerian musician, Davido who is the C.E.O of Davido Music Worldwide takes to his social media, Instagram as he takes off all his posts.

Davido who happens to be Afrofica’s most followed musical artiste with over 26 million followers on the American-owned social media platform, Instagram had about 4,000 plus posts shared on his account but decide to downsize the numbers.

Per our checks on Wednesday, Townflex Entertainment after visiting the verified Instagram account of the multiple award-winning singer, Davido, 30,  born with the legal name David Adeleke, noticed he has deleted his Instagram profile picture.


Not just his profile picture alone, but he has also deleted all his over 4,000+ posts on the platform and left behind only three posts.

The three posts left behind are posts that are so dear to the singer per our own observation.

Among his remaining three posts holds pictures of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke who died on October 31, 2022,  also his “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” performance at the closing ceremony of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, as well as photos of him and his lover, Chioma Roland.

The singer who has been on a social media hiatus for some time following the death of his son, Ifeanyi.


He made his first public appearance after Ifeanyi’s death at the swearing-in ceremony of Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, as Osun governor, on November 27.

He also returned to social media shortly before his performance at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World on December 18 and shared loved-up photos with his fiancée.

After the performance, Davido teased about his return to music, which he said was going to be in March.
