Deadly Night in Glendale: 3 Killed, 5 Hurt in Steakhouse Shooting

A quiet Sunday evening turned into a nightmare in Glendale, Arizona, after a shooting at a popular steakhouse left three people dead and five others injured.

The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. at El Camaron Gigante, a well-known local restaurant located just next door to the Glendale Police Department.

According to police, multiple 911 calls came in moments after the violence erupted.

Officer Moroni Mendez confirmed that more than one shooter is believed to have been involved.

While no arrests have been made, several people were taken in for questioning. Authorities stressed that there’s currently no ongoing threat to the public.

What sparked the deadly incident remains unclear. Officer Mendez didn’t share details about the victims or their conditions but did say some were injured by shrapnel during the chaos.

Eyewitness Lupe Rodriguez, who was dining nearby, described a harrowing scene. “I heard people yelling out names,” he said. “There was a man on the ground and it didn’t look like he made it. His father was yelling his name. It was pretty bad.”

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and continuing to question witnesses. The community is left grappling with grief and confusion as the investigation unfolds.
