Ghanaian rapper Patapaa seems not to be happy seeing music lovers comparing Black Sherif’s ‘Kwaku The Traveller‘ to his 2019 released hit single ‘One Corner’ as he asks music enthusiasts not to do such comparisons.
According to the rapper cum singer, there is no Ghanian song that has gone viral and breaking international borders than his song, claiming it still remains Ghana’s biggest international song so far.
Patapaa who is born with his legal name as Justice Amoah made this known in a recent interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA).

Patapaa during the interview acknowledged the fact that Black Sherif’s newly released trending ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ song that is currently breaking barriers and topping charts in many African countries and getting loved worldwide is a big song but not as big and hasn’t gotten international recognition as his ‘One Corner’ song and asked fans not to compare KTT to it.
in his word, he said;
“The challenge that ‘One Corner’ generated all over the world was staggering. For me, I consider Black Sherif’s ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ as a social media song and it doesn’t even come close to ‘Scopatumana’.
“I do agree that ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ is doing very well, but people shouldn’t compare it to my ‘One Corner’. People have to respect my ‘One Corner’ song because it placed Ghana on the world music map”.
Patapaa also spoke about his much-anticipated song which he announced some months back “Glass Nkoa” saying his fans should expect it soon as it will be officially be out and made available for public consumption in May.
