The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), collaborating with the Electricity Company Of Ghana (ECG) has released the official dumsor timtable to help manage the disruptions in power supply in parts of Greater Accra Region.
The dumsor and it’s timetable according to ECG is expected to take effect starting from Monday May 10, through to May 17, 2021, which is going to be a 8-day project.
So this simply means that some parts of Accra are going to expreience power cuts following the ongoing system improvement works on the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point.
This was maded known to the general public in a released press Statement by ECG yesterday, Tuesday, April 20th, 2021, according to the statement, the project will require a complete shutdown of the 330kv transmission line thereby affecting power supply and reliability to the Mallam Bulk Supply Point

Upon completion, the Pokuase BSP is expected to address power supply challenges, such as frequent outages and low voltages, resulting from increased power demand in Accra and the surrounding towns.
